2010 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640
Although the economy is causing issues for automakers, Lamborghini is taking a direction to increase their sales. They announced that they are making it even easier for the super wealthy to get their hands on one of their vehicles.

The upcoming Volkswagen Golf R will also be available in a turbocharged GTI-R.
After revealing the new Golf R at last month’s Frankfurt Auto Show, Volkswagen announced that they will be coming out with a new variant of this new vehicle called the GTI-R, which is to replace the old R32 that was discontinued.

Will Volkswagen win again this year with the Golf TDI?
This years finalists for the Green Car of the Year award were announced this morning at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The award, int he past, has been a very useful marketing tool for automakers who’ve won it.

Volkswagen will take a 10 percent stake in Suzuki. What do they have planned?
In an interesting move, Volkswagen has reported that they will be taking a 10 percent stake in Suzuki by the end of the year. Volkswagen recently closed the deal with ownership of Porsche, so one has to ask why take a stake in this company?

Volkswagen L1 Concept
Monday, Volkswagen announced an ultra fuel efficient car L1 concept that is says to get 100 kilometers on 1.38-liters of fuel. This precedes a 2002 concept design that could go 100 kilometers on 1-liter of fuel, equivalent to about 235 mpg. Although it doesn’t quite match up to the original model, it’s still very impressive none-the-less.
