Dutch car-maker Spyker has revealed today it’s plans for a new GT racecar which will hit the track in 2012.

Juha Kankkunen, four-time Finnish world rally champion, has set a new world speed record on sheet ice at a speed of 205.4 mph.

Although the German automaker has not even released their new 5-Series GT yet, it seems to have plans to make a GT version of their popular 3-Series vehicles, which currently looks to be the 335i.  Although unconfirmed, BMW says it is planning to create a cargo-hauling small brother based on the next generation 3-Series.

For quite some time now Citroën has been toying with the idea of releasing a real life version of the GTbyCitroën.  Originally a car designed for the Grand Turismo 5, Citroën has now confirmed that at least 5 of these cars are currently in production.
