Volvo has plans to release a plug-in diesel hybrid, with a planned release by 2012.

The Swedish automaker, Volvo, announced it’s intention to develop a plug-in hybrid vehicle that would be powered by both an electric motor and a diesel engine.  They said their intention is to have this new vehicle in production by 2012.  This comes amid talks of the Ford owned company possibly being on the market and looking for a new owner.

I’ll be honest with you, i’m not really a muscle car fan by any means.  So, when I was asked to do a review on the Dodge Challenger SRT8, I wasn’t terribly excited as a schoolboy seeing his first porn film.  However, when I finally got this vehicle on the road I have to say I am impressed by the power this thing has under the hood.

About 2 years ago I purchased a new radar detector for my car.  This ended up being the result of getting 2 speeding tickets in one month (one which was complete b.s. and the other one… well I deserved that one).  The idea for me was to catch myself if I was speeding before an officer detected me completely.  However, the one thing I hate that comes along with it is the people who think “oh, he has a radar detector!  I’ll just following him real close so I can speed too and not get in trouble”.  These people need to roll their cars down a cliff and die.
