Confirmed today by a board member, automakers Chrysler Group and Fiat SpA are working together to develop an electric car.  This comes not long after former Chrysler CEO Bob Nardelli unveiled several plans for electric and gas efficient vehicles before the company files for bankruptcy protection and was purchased by Fiat SpA.

Many automotive designers are new and innovative ideas for their designs.  One example of this is the Honda RA-X, a sporty concept that looks like a combination of the Honda NS-X and the Honda Fit.  Unlike most of the other Honda concepts developed by Japanese designers, this one was created by Spanish designer Xuacu Pérez.

The Swedish automaker, Volvo, announced it’s intention to develop a plug-in hybrid vehicle that would be powered by both an electric motor and a diesel engine.  They said their intention is to have this new vehicle in production by 2012.  This comes amid talks of the Ford owned company possibly being on the market and [...]

About 2 weeks ago we wrote and article about a electric version of the Audi R8.  Today, Audi broke news at the Frankfurt Car Show when they revealed their revolutionary vehicle, the Audi e-Tron, which is an all electric car has the body appearance of the R8.
