Car News – Chrysler/Fiat developing electric car.

Sergio Marchionne, current CEO of Chrysler and Fiat, is leaving swiss bank's UBS board of directors.

CEO Sergio Marchionne is set to present details of his five-year plan for Chrysler. Is an electric car included in it?

Confirmed today by a board member, automakers Chrysler Group and Fiat SpA are working together to develop an electric car.  This comes not long after former Chrysler CEO Bob Nardelli unveiled several plans for electric and gas efficient vehicles before the company files for bankruptcy protection and was purchased by Fiat SpA.

Car News – Fiat 500 will be sold in U.S., handled by Chrysler

According to Peter Fong, Chrysler brand CEO and head of sales for all Chrysler Group brands, the Fiat 500 will be sold in the U.S. with Chrysler handling distribution.  However there is going to be a limited volume available to start with.

I’ll be honest with you, i’m not really a muscle car fan by any means.  So, when I was asked to do a review on the Dodge Challenger SRT8, I wasn’t terribly excited as a schoolboy seeing his first porn film.  However, when I finally got this vehicle on the road I have to say I am impressed by the power this thing has under the hood.
