Car News – GM to spend $230M on Chevy Volt, Cruze Plants

General Motors announced that they will be spending $230 million on four different plants in the Flint, Michigan area to support the production of the upcoming Chevy Volt plug-in vehicle.  The money will also be used to help build the 2011 Chevy Cruze, which is also made from a similar platform as the Volt.

Chevrolet line-up of vehicles will account up to 70% of all sales for General Motors.

Chevrolet’s line-up of vehicles has always been the biggest seller out of all the General Motor’s brand of cars.  However, according to the brand chief, there is plans set to make the iconic bowtie account for 70% of all sales for GM.

I’ll be honest with you, i’m not really a muscle car fan by any means.  So, when I was asked to do a review on the Dodge Challenger SRT8, I wasn’t terribly excited as a schoolboy seeing his first porn film.  However, when I finally got this vehicle on the road I have to say I am impressed by the power this thing has under the hood.

Car News – GM discusses production increase on Camaro, SRX, Equinox, and LaCrosse

It appears that General Motors is turning the corner from it’s bankruptcy days.  It was announced that they are in discussions of possibly increasing production of 4 of their brand models: Chevy Camaro, Cadillac SRX, Chevy Equinox and the Buick LaCrosse.  This comes after the company reported strong sales for each of these in recent months.
