Audi is developing a lightweight prototype of it’s Audi A5 Coupe.  The difference on this car?  It’s 100kg lighter than a standard A5 coupe due to using aluminum and carbon fiber instead of steel.

It appears that Audi is planning to discontinue all development of their V10 engines.  These same engines types are located in some of their top models, including their supercar, the Audi R8.  One particular version that’s found in the Audi RS6 is already scheduled to no longer be produced.

Based on the A5 Sportback unveiled earlier last month, the S model is pretty close only improved slightly on the performance level.  Although expected to be a big hit in Europe, it is said that this vehicle may not make it to the U.S., although that may change.

Today the 2010 Audi R8 Spyder finally got released at the Frankfurt Car Show.  2 weeks ago we released information that was leaked on this car, along with news that it is going to be featured in the new Iron Man II movie.  We will now give you new details on what this car has.
