I think this new Fiesta is very nice but it shows how expensive new cars can be…a few years ago these would have run you around $13,000 topped out now they are creeping into midsize sedan price…that will be the deal breaker for most people.

I agree with the performance upgrade via the exhaust however, there are better sounding exhausts then these fart cans. They are definitely for “show” (sound) they make the car sound “fast” because stupid people confuse sound with speed.

Just a little tip for the future. The fart can mufflers as you call them, do give you a performance upgrade. After Doing a cat back install on my car, with a high flow cat, 2.5″ straight pipe, to a “fart can muffler” dyno showed that I got about 17hp out of it. Also my mpg went from about 25 city to close to 35. I do agree about the spoilers, as most imports are FWD and adding down force will do the opposite of what you want if you are on anything but a drag strip. So in order for them to help with cornering fast, you would have to mount them on the hood. So just wait until we start seeing that lol.

Don’t worry about a thing. In a few billion years the planet and our sun will no longer exist and all trace of us, our cars, our buildings…everything will be as if it had never existed. We will all be kaputsky…just atoms and some dust floating about in space. So let the slowpokes alone, and let the speeders lose control on the slippery roads and die….just relax, avoid them and sip yer coffee. The end result will ultimately be the same. (see above)

As long as i don’t get a ticket in my 53 Willy’s truck… that would be uncool. Although it is fun to see how many cars i can get behind me . last time i had an ambulance behind me!
