Toyota FT-86 Concept
It’s been a little while since we’ve seen any decent sports cars come out from Toyota. However, at the very bare Tokyo Car Show this year they revealed a new concept called the FT-86.
Although not many details were released yet, it can be said that the FT-85 is the result of a rumored venture between Toyota and Subaru. Since this is the case, the vehicle will be powered by a 2.0-liter boxer engine to the rear wheels. Unfortunately, no details of the horsepower and torque have been made available.
The FT-86 Concept’s total length is just under 164 inches, which is about a foot and a half smaller than a Chevy Cobolt Coupe. Other details like the curb-weight and suspension were also not made available, however they did say that it uses a light body and low center of gravity to give it excellent handling.
More details on the Toyota FT-86 Concept is expected to become available in the next few weeks of the car show.
