The Porsche Cayenne

Porsche has been on kind of unstable land lately with the market crunch worldwide.  Although they are not in serious trouble like General Motors or Chrysler, there has been some talk that the German automaker is having issues with low sales.  However, there are plans to turn the company into the right direction again and double their sales by 2013 as per the future Porsche CEO and current CEO of Volkswagen: Martin Winterkorn.

According to many analysts, in order for Porsche to meet this very ambitious goal they will need to add several new models to their line-up.  According to a online source they will likely add two new models – a smaller roadster to slot beneath the Boxster and a small SUVto compliment the Cayenne.

Currently there is no definite schedule planned on when they are going to roll-out this plan, or even if they are going to.  If they do decide, it’s possible you may start seeing some new modems in dealer showrooms by 2011.
