Nissan GT-R
When the Nissan GT-R hit the market, it revolutionized the market with it’s power and performance. However, it was announced that this powerhouse will be getting a new upgrade when the next-generation GT-R hits the market in 2013.
“These are very hard times and, as you know, we have had to make cuts to many programs,” said Andy Palmer, Nissan’s product planning head. “However, it is very important to Nissan that we remain able to offer a diverse range of vehicles from electric cars, to LCVs and the GT-R and we continue to fully support the work you are doing here.”
Currently, there isn’t a lot of details, but Nissan will release the new version by 2013. This will allow the GT-R to come head to head with the lifecycle of it’s direct competitor, Porsche 911. The next-generation will keep it’s current platform and the twin-turbo V6. However it will receive several upgrades to improve the performance on it even more.
