Nissan GT-R is going to get some upgrades done.

When Nissan released the GT-R to the market, many people were astonished by the power and handling of this excellent vehicle.  What surprised people even more is that it can compete with many of the other top models, but still cost less.  However, it was recently discovered that this powerhouse will be getting an upgrade soon.

Some of the changes, as reported by GT-R project chief Kazutoshi Mizuno, is an upgraded suspension, rear diffuser, and air intakes.  The suspension was promised to have very little changes.  It will have slightly stiffer dampers and springs at the front and stiffer counterparts at the rear.

A set of NACA ducts, similar to those on the hood, will be placed on the car’s flanks, while the rear diffuser from the exclusive SpecV model is to be added to the standard version as well.

Finally, NISMO will be offering a new data system with a PC interface.

While the newest version of the GT-R won’t be shown at this years Tokyo Auto Show, it is expected to be unveiled sometime in 2010.
