Car News – New Audi R8 Spyder pictures leaked.

When we first saw this car, it was on the set of the new Iron Man II movie with Robert Downy Jr. driving it.  At first the assumption was this was a new concept car Audi was coming out with.  However, pictures have been recently leaked of the Audi R8 Spyder along with information that this car may be released sometime in 2010.

The one thing that most people will notice on the new Audi R8 Spyder is that it’s missing it’s trademark aluminum”side blades”.  Other things are the addition of air intakes behind the seats along with safety roll bars.  It’s also apparent that it will sport a soft top instead of the targa top which was initially rumored to have.  It’s also said that it will come stock with a V10 engine.

The Audi R8 Spyder is said to be released at this month’s IAA show in Frankfurt, with sales likely to start sometime in 2010.
