Honda RA-X Concept
Many automotive designers are new and innovative ideas for their designs. One example of this is the Honda RA-X, a sporty concept that looks like a combination of the Honda NS-X and the Honda Fit. Unlike most of the other Honda concepts developed by Japanese designers, this one was created by Spanish designer Xuacu Pérez.
As you can tell, the design of the car is very modern and looks very fast even while standing still. The cabin appears to be slightly leaning towards the front to give it a more forward shape. The F1 inspired name could also attest to the concept’s over sized wheels, which are pushed to the corners of the body, the wraparound windscreen, the muscular kink in the c-pillar, and the 4 exhausts that fire spent gasses out the back.
The body overall shape would act like a wing, producing a great amount of down force to be under control at high speeds, which is the same low drag design that made the NSX a excellent supercar. The RA-X’s is currently being proposed to have a 400 HP mid engine layout. Also a possibility would be to add a electric engine to meet the ever changing trend that many of the other brand names are headed towards.
