BMW 335i in a GT version?
Although the German automaker has not even released their new 5-Series GT yet, it seems to have plans to make a GT version of their popular 3-Series vehicles, which currently looks to be the 335i. Although unconfirmed, BMW says it is planning to create a cargo-hauling small brother based on the next generation 3-Series.
The 335i GT would most likely be similar to a standard 3-Series wagon, at least in the European market, but it would also offer a more stylish alternative for those who don’t need quite as much space as a full wagon provides. It is also reported that the 335i Gran Turismo would offer a two-stage tailgate like the 5-Series GT and it will be available in both diesel and gasoline variants. There currently is no plans for a M3 GT version.
Although BMW has also announced plans to create a line of four cylinder cars, this is still a rumor going around and not confirmed.
